NCC Enrollment was organised for the students of class VIII (Girls wing) under the supervision and guidance of distinguished authorities Subedar Major Rakesh Kumar, Girls Cadet Instructor Anjali mam, Hawaldar Surjeet Singh and Hawaldar Manjeet Singh. Before the commencement of the selection process, a cultural welcome was honoured to the worthy guests of the event through patriotic song, dance and speech by the NCC cadets. The selection process included 100m race, Physical Fitness Test, General Awareness Test and Interview. Finally, 25 cadets were selected to be the part of 3 PUNJAB GIRLS BATTALION NCC LUDHIANA WING for framing them into the combating and patriotic citizens of the nation to serve their best for the country.
Principal Upasna Modgil supporting the power of the girls in society congratulated the selected candidates and emphasized that basic military training should be the part of Education to make safe and secure our country not only at border but also inside the country.
